Inspector General Xmas Message 2018

Dear Brethren,

Nearly another year has passed but where has that time gone!

You will be pleased to know that the District is in good heart and we've had another successful year.

In November we celebrated the Centenary of St Nicolas Chapter No.198 during which our Provincial Grand Master was Enthroned. We’ve had one promotion to the 32°, one to the 31° and several brethren elected to the 30°. We also welcome Ill Bro. Darron Pinnell 30° as a new Deputy Preceptor in the MRCCI.

Our District Recorder, Ill Bro. John Phenix, retires on 31st December 2018 following his appointment as the next Grand Superintendent for Worcestershire in the Royal Arch. His Installation is on 13th April 2019. We wish him well in this high office. His successor as District Recorder will be Ill Bro. Ian Fothergill 30°. Ian is a very experienced Brother whom many of you will already know. I have known Bro. Ian for many years and I am very pleased he has accepted this high position. He brings with him much knowledge in the administration department and has certainly got his own style.

Sadly it is at this time of the year we remember those who are no longer with us but they are in our thoughts and prayers.

As we celebrate the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ let us pray peace can prevail across the world and we are all of the understanding as we are told in the greatest book on earth. If you love my son, he will love you. The climax of our Order (the Trinity) Father, Son and Holy Spirit (the Rose Croix) we should remember to live within our bounds and to let the outside world know what a wonderful Christian Order we belong to.

In the FMT Issue No 44 is an account from the Grand Secretary General of a system of 33 degrees, please read this most interesting account of our Order,

and let us all reflect on it and build our District so that other Brethren may experience what we have enjoyed for many years.

May I, together with my wife Patricia, my District Recorder John Phenix and his wife Sandra and Ian Fothergill and his wife Irene, wish you all and your respective families a Very Happy and Peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year..

We look forward to being with you all in 2019

Yours sincerely and fraternally

Richard

V Ill Bro. Dr. R.N. Hoare 33⁰
